Regional Areas

Five regions have been defined for the purpose of the strategy. These are:

1. Darwin Region (Darwin and the shires of Top End, Tiwi Islands, and West Arnhem)
2. East Arnhem Region (East Arnhem Shire)
3. Katherine Region (Shires of Victoria River-Daly and Roper Gulf and the Katherine Town Council)
4. Barkly Region (Barkly Shire)
5. Alice Springs Region (Alice Springs Town Council, Central Desert Shire and MacDonnell Shire)
