Bus Interchanges and Bus Stops

It is prohibited to advertise or promote any function, event or affiliation at any Bus Interchange, Bus Stop or Bus Shelter without the express permission of the Director Public Transport.

This includes posting of any flyers or notices on any walls, or other surfaces in or around buildings, bus stops or shelters or other like structures, and the individual handing out of any such material.

A person must not, for the purposes of advertising or promoting an event, make any unsolicited approaches to any person at any Bus Interchange, Bus Stop or Bus Shelter.

Specifically, a person must not distribute any material of a notifying or advertising nature, including, but not limited to, notices or flyers advertising events, functions, products for sale or material of political, environmental or social nature. Policy Statement
